Extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion are special ministers f the Eucharist who assist with the distribution of Communion at the weekend Masses. They also assist the pastor in distributing Holy Communion to parishioners who are confined to their homes, in the hospital, or in nursing facilities.
Training sessions are provided during the year for those who wish to serve our parish in this way. These sessions are held right here in the parish. If you are interested in serving as an extraordinary minister of Holy Communion, please contact the parish office at (570)342-4881.
The schedules for extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion are distributed through email on a monthly basis. You can request that a hard copy be mailed to you. Additional copies of the schedule are posted in the sacristy.
